Zofran (ondansetron) blocks the actions of chemicals in the body that can trigger nausea and vomiting. Zofran is often used by physicians to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused by surgery, cancer chemotherapy, or radiation treatment.
Symptoms of nausea can be caused by stress, motion sickness, alcohol use, viruses, GI upsets, chronic conditions and more. Either way feeling sick to your stomach just sucks.
